Definitions:
- Biowaste: Separately collected organic residual household sometimes mixed with residual waste from gardens.
- Food and kitchen waste: waste from restaurants, canteens, fast food restaurants, inkstands
- Green waste: Separately collected organic residues from gardens and parks.
- Rest waste: Organic fraction in restwaste of the municipal solidwaste after separation of all recyclables including bio- and greenwaste.
- Municipal solid waste: Organic fraction in the municipal solid waste without separation of biowaste
- Industrial organic waste: Organic waste from food and drink producing industry, slaughter houses, fat collectors, supermarket, markets
